Therapy Groups at MGC
Life can feel overwhelming at times – whether due to long-standing patterns, sudden changes, difficult relationships or inner conflict. Gestalt therapy provides a supportive, relational space to explore these challenges and develop greater awareness, resilience and choice.
Short and long term psychotherapy is available to individuals, couples and families. We offer one-to-one psychotherapy for adults in a confidential, professional and non-judgemental setting.
What can I bring?
People come to therapy for many different reasons, including:
- Anxiety, depression or emotional overwhelm
- Relationship or family difficulties
- Stress, burnout or low self-worth
- Loss, grief or life transitions
- Trauma and early life experience
- Creative blocks or a general feeling of being stuck
- A desire to deepen personal insight and growth
You don’t need to have a clearly defined “problem” to benefit from therapy. Many people come with a general sense of wanting to understand themselves more fully and live more authentically.
How we work
Our therapists are all UKCP-registered Gestalt psychotherapists with many years’ experience. Each therapist brings their own style, but all work in a relational, embodied and inclusive way.
Sessions are typically held weekly and last 50 minutes. You can choose short-term or longer-term therapy depending on your needs and goals.
We offer both in-person therapy at our centre in Manchester (M14 5LF) and online sessions via secure video platforms. Some therapists offer a hybrid model.
